Our INITIATIVES include:

• Play productions
SP regularly produces theatre works created by emerging and established playwrights. Our most recent production was Re/membering Aunt Jemima.

• WoRdPLaY
This monthly spoken word event showcases local writers and spoken word artists. 

• Da Playhouse
Where speakeasy meets cabaret, Da PLAYHOUSE is a party -- theatre-style -- with live theatre shorts, talented spoken word features, hip-hop and lounge-style music and, of course, an open mic.

• Found in Translation
Comprised of several spoken word and performance artists, Found in Translation creates thematic and commissioned work for various organizations and educational institutions.
